The October 29 elections have plunged the nation into a state of uncertainty that has emerged in the protests. We are deeply saddened by this situation and condemn this brutal and inhuman killing of our youth and others. This is a great evil and an abomination to our God. Protesting is a right of citizens as a way to convey a message or complaint if the path of dialogue has failed. It is from the Reflection of the Council of Bishops, Tanzania issued on November 15, 2025.
