The apostolic pilgrimage of Pope Leo XIV to Lebanon from November 30 to December 2, 2025 is guided by the motto “Blessed are the peacemakers; for they will be called children of God.” Mt. 5:9. The Holy Father has called on the people of God in Lebanon to fully focus on seeking and maintaining justice and peace even at the point of gunfire and that this is a continuous challenge against: hatred, pride, tyranny, division and hostility
